A community preserving nature & culture
View the Future is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust founded in 2004, dedicated to preserving the land, culture, and natural beauty of the Yachats community in southern Lincoln County, Oregon.
We partner with landowners and community groups to protect vital lands and habitats through conservation easements and special projects.

The Yachats Ridge Project
Over 1,100 acres of coastal hills serve as the scenic backdrop to Yachats. This once-in-a-generation conservation opportunity will preserve vital habitat, protect watersheds, and honor the cultural heritage of the Oregon Coast.
Wildlife Habitat
Home to Roosevelt elk, black bears, and countless native species that depend on these connected forest corridors.
